Pretty good price for a fast 1tb nvme drive. At $150 with coupons and no tax and good speed and lowest price according to ccc.

I just purchased their PCIE 4.0 500gb, and it works well even outperforming Corsair and Aorus offerings. The Amazon reviews and other online sources reflect that as well. They are an American company as well. I was thoroughly impressed by their packaging. I expected much worse, but it came in a bronze tin case with plenty of nicely laid out foam

Literally the same hardware in all 3 of these drives.

LOL join the majority of people here. Most of the things we buy is not a necessity. I paid $2,500 on a PC that i barely use. All the samsung b-die and overclocking is pointless lol.

I have an extra M2 slot, I'm going to fill it one day when prices drop even further. I already have 2tb's which is not close to being filled.

You won't even be able to tell the difference between a single one and two in raid so this is a terrible idea.

Why is there a huge heatsink on this? Does that mean it can't be used in a laptop?
PCIE 4.0 drives run faster and hotter than 3.0.

It is recommended to use a heatsink or throttling will occur.

I used the heatsink that came with my motherboard

Hope that helps

The product in this thread is the pcie 3.0 version so no heatsink required. What you saw in my link and pictures is for the pcie 4.0 variant.

You and I both know that actual performance isn't factoring into my decision here...

My motherboard came with a daughter card that let's me plug two nvme SSDs in Raid into a modified DIMM slot.

Thanks, got it for my Razer Blade 15. A lot of us picked one up from the recent Amazon deal.

RFD... The site you visit to save money... But end up spending way more on stuff you didn't know you 'needed'.

I sold my my desktop with an i7 and GTX 1080 because it turns out I only play League of legends on it. And all my friends are only into outdoorsy stuff. Yet I convinced myself I'd use it.

Saving money on stuff we don't need is the way to get more stuff we don't need.

RFD....it's a way of living.
This is RedFlagDeals, not RedFlagCheapskates. Rich or poor, we all want our deals so we can buy even more stuff we may or may not need.
