While I own a bunch of Anovas, if I was buying a new one I'm not entirely sure I'd buy another solely because of price.
Sous Vide sticks are getting to as low as like $20-30 so paying $190 seems... excessive.
Back when there was basically JUST Anova? Sure.

But today? Not so much.

Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

I never went anova
Paid $90 1.5 years ago & couldn’t be happier
No wifi but it does the job every time no issues
Also higher wattage was reason when anova was only 850w
Got a 1000w Sous Vide stick

Didn’t feel spending more to get less power & wouldn’t ever use wifi or bt on the Sous Vide so I spent $ saved, for vacuum sealer Face With Tears Of Joy

Preachin' to the choir.
I get the whole food in ice water then turn on as you get home, but there's nothing I cook quickly via sous vide.

I turn on the Anova from the grocery store when I'm buying a Tenderloin or Rib Eye steak. It's like being able to preheat your oven remotely.

I'll be buying a cheaper second sous-vide without wifi though.
