Thanks Op! Going to try out the Oregon one for my 450 Rancher... Says it's compatible, but last time I bought a set from HD it didn't fit my bar.

Compatible doesn't mean much when it comes to saw chains. You have to match up the gauge, pitch, and link count. You have to match the chain, bar, and sprocket. There are also different mount sizes. E.g.g Stihl has a "big" mount, medium mount, and a "small" mount that use different number of links for the same bar length. Husky have small, and large mount sizes. Look at your bar and it should give you the info you need for a matching chain.

Would any of these work with echo CS-501p? I don’t see that saw listed, but the stats seem to line up.
