We got this last year https://www.discounterspoolandspa.com/c ... 1rEALw_wcB

Pretty good better then vacuuming manually as it will save your filter from getting algae in there it scrubs and sucks empty the filter. Would recommend

You're on RFD, so the cheapest will be to stop using it

I have the Polaris P955 and it has worked well for 3+ seasons. The remote is gimmiky but does work when you need to hit a missed area. I have a large-ish pool (20x36) and have been generally pleased.

remote seems fine to us our pool is largeish too ~95000L and it works great pop it in for 2-3 hours and its good for teh day ... cant believe we were manually cleaning the pool (we have the aqua genie system so it sucked using a vaccum because its only 1 jet and its strong but on the low setting you have to do it really slow)

Don't waste your money on the one from Amazon, cheap is not always best. Stick with Dolphin by Maytronics or E Vac from Hayward.

Thanks!

But I was looking more in the ~500$ range. I have also a largish modern rectangular pool around 20x40.
Is there anything okay in that range or all devices sucks and good technology is only in the 1500$+ range ?

Thank you,

We have the Polaris P965iQ and really happy with it. Bought it years ago when it was much cheaper

Thank you,
trust me dont cheap out you will pay for it in the long run, rather get a reputable pool cleaner (made from a company that knows how to design them)
At this time I would not trust these off brand versions of the pool cleaners IMO
