Amazon is hardly easy to return to either, tho. Not if you want to not pay for shipping or lie about the reason.

What? Amazon has to be the easiest place of all time to return to. Performance/Quality not adequate covers almost everything and is free returns, same with Incompatible/Not Useful.

You can pretty much claim every single return is not useful, for whatever reason, thats why you are returning it, and it will always be free.

This is a great deal. At this price point, my 2TB 660P for $260 + tax looks silly.

Can someone help an old guy out and confirm that this drive will work with my motherboard?

Bought one. Thanks OP. Will return if there is a better deal. From the reviews this is pretty even with the Samsung evo.

As the other guy said, yes. Specifically you care about the fact it has m.2 connectors

It will work, further when you have a look at your motherboard, check to see if a shroud is there, or if the small tiny screw is there (you slide it in) and that tiny screw holds it in place. If it's not attached to the motherboard, then check the motherboard box, it'll be in a baggy. It's important to attach the screw after you slide the drive in. Check out YouTube videos searching for "installing M.2 ssds", for guidance if this was too ambiguous.
