Great price, bought this for $48 a few months back and thought that was a decent deal.

Looking back I might pay extra for cordless but $35 for this is a no brainer.

Handy sometimes to blend things on the fly in pan/wok. Saves time moving jars and washing extra for a quick blend.

I'm very limited in my culinary prowess. Aside from making soup, what would you use the hand blender for?

For me, very little. I guess milkshakes and smoothies and anything that needs to be blended in a small space where you don't want to have to clean a full blender.

I bought one 5 or so years ago to complete the small Kitchen-aid appliance set. Still haven't used it. I've used the full blender, the small food processor, and regularly use the hand mixer, but have few uses for this.

Pretty sure I got mine for less than this price using multiple discounts from the Bay.
