[Amazon.ca] ($359.99 WITH PRIME) Amazon Fire TV 43" Omni Series 4K UHD smart TV, hands-free with Alexa

ATL according to CCC.

I use this as a monitor (not for gaming but for working) and it is great.

Note: price is for prime members only.

I don't think this is considered a good price for a 43" TV in 2023.

$360 seems like a decent price. but I already bought the 43" fire tv deal last year. June 2022 the 43" fire tv went for $240. Great TV for the home gym.

I bought the same one at $240 in June 2022 as a living room TV.

We don't watch much TV and we bought it to replace a 15 year old 27" monitor-turned-TV, but I honestly have no complaints. It's better than I expected for $271.19 taxes in.

Omni is a tier above the 4 series. Tho iirc it's a very very marginal improvement

How much is a good deal on a good 43" 4K TV nowadays? I haven't bought a TV in more than 10 years.

Thanks
Probably a better warranty experience. 2 years costco vs 1year amazon. Plus its $60 cheaper which you could add a chromecast tv 4k for that much and have a much better UI experience.

I bought this for my daughter’s new room and as a TV we could move around as its so light (deck, cottage in the summer etc). I have a 65” OLED I paid 10x for. For $240 that firetv is very impressive.

My Hisense TV just died after 2 years. The 50' version of this fire tv is also on for $399 with discount. In for one.

Also have the 43" 4-series FireTV from last summer's sale. Agreed, for $240 I'm very happy with the TV. Would I like another 100 nits brightness? Sure, but at the price range you'd be hard pressed to find better (you're really shopping against like, RCA TVs from Walmart). The Smart features work fine. It has Ethernet and eARC.

For $360 - granted the Omni is a marginally better TV - you are at/above the pricing of TCLs and Hisense TVs, so it's not as clear cut a deal, particularly if you are partial to a Roku or Android TV model over FireTV.

My only real comment on it (vs a much better TV) is that the blacks dont get black enough. For what it is and what I paid I’m 100% pleased.

It’s also a Netflix/Disney+ box and no one games or watches sports on it.

Any one able to get the 50" 4-Series for $299.99? The $200 off NEWTV50 is only taking off $100 from the $499.99 list price. Customer service said there isn't any codes for the TV, which clearly isn't the case if an advertised code gave a discount.
