[Amazon.ca] 3M™ Peltor™ Optime 98 Over-The-Head Earmuffs, $15.03

Good deal on these popular, well-reviewed earmuffs. I've had a pair for a few years and they're far more comfortable, durable and provide better noise reduction than the ones you might find at the dollar store.

Lowest price according to CCC.

Good earmuffs, simple, and durable. IIRC these are around $18 at Aircraft Spruce regular price. At this price you're better off getting a new pair than buying the hygiene kit.

These were standard issue at my workplace until my employer switched to cheaper options, the cheap ones break and get replaced every few months while plenty of people still hang on to their Optime 98. That said, I went with cap-mounted Peltor X5 muffs at my own expense and never looked back

Oh wow, I bought these back in May for $40. They're pretty comfortable and block out noise.

Dollarama have some cheapy red Honeywell with the same rating for 4 bucks, very small however, not for big heads and not as comfortable, ok for short uses.

Are these good enough for the Gun range? would be great to have an extra set in the car for visitors or backup.

These will be fine for the gun range @ 26 NRR
The trouble will be if you are using them for rifles the bulkiness of it might cause issues when cheek welding rifles / shotguns
For handguns it is totally fine
