Well, I learned something new today. Didn't know Amazon sold Kirkland products.

Anyway, it's a good deal but I'm hesitant. How fast will this become a solid 10pound block once opened?

Same price as Costco, tho Costco doesn't have prime shipping.

I bought this from Costco a few months back. This pack is resealable like Ziplock and DOES NOT become a solid block once opened. I keep it under room temperature. It looks slightly brown in color but tastes like normal white sugar. I hope it helps.

This was on sale last week @ the Business Centre in Scarborough. Pretty sure it was $10.99. I cheaped out and got the Redpath for under $5.

It's $9.99 at a regular Costco

"Organic sugar" brings to mind a dry cleaner window ad I saw about fifteen years ago proudly proclaiming, "We Use Organic Solvents!"

I buy this for making kombucha. It was $9.99 in-store last time I checked (not too long ago).

Reminder to stick to the deal topic.

Want to try this, but I'm sure I won't get through all of this in time. What's the best way to store it so that it doesn't lump once opened? Air tight container? Is there even a big enough air tight container that can hold 4.5kg?

You can store the sugar in a container that's reasonably air tight. Throw in a slice of bread. Change out the bread every 1 to 2 months to prevent the sugar from hardening.
