I have this unit and hate it. Narrow strip/Weak/leaky seals, the capacitive buttons start sealer functions without any notice simply by moving it around when plugged in, horribly placed cutter feature, no cord storage cavity. I like that it's easy to clean and because of the weak seal it's fairly quiet compared to others.
What do you guys use for bag options? Looking to get a vacuum sealer to use for sous vide but the price of bags kind of deter me. I'm currently using the water displacement method to get the air out with ziploc freezer bags

I know at one point in the past people complained about an odor or something from this brand. But I've been using them for over a year now and they are always great. Whatever the issue was seems to be resolved.
I had this unit for 1 day and the strip that seals the bags was damaged so nothing was able to seal. It kept making holes in the bags. I just waited for a sale on a food saver. Glad I spent the Extra.
