People still use monitors these days? Mine desktop is conected to 65” tv, other times it’s usually mobile computing :-)

ah yes a 60hz tv... amazing.

You know theres people that are actually good at games and need 120hz+ and 3ms - to stay competitive?

There are monitors that cost more than your TV.

A TV can't compete against a monitor if you're using it for gaming.

I work on a laptop every day, which is connected to 2 monitors... to spread out the joy.

It depends what you're using it for, text clarity is a lot better on a (decent quality) monitor than any tv. You can also get ones with much more accurate colour representation or higher refresh. Size is also not really important if you're sitting at a desk. Anything bigger than about 24" just needs to be further away from you in that situation, you don't get any benefit from it.

I do a lot of programming so I'd never consider using a TV on my desktop.
