Hope they are good and quite... Order just before you posted this deal, but it said something about delayed shipping...

Since joining RFD, I’ve discovered that buying low end junk for cheap means you've just wasted the money that you could have put toward some better stuff….!

For $2.30 per fan, cant complain. I bought a set to run for my download server in the basement last Oct. They move decent amount of air and fairly quiet.

Are these good to place in a cabinet to cool audio video components? Anyone have pics of such a setup?

Filters make a nice addition to these no matter what you use them for. These waffle weave types are the best imo. They can sometimes be had for under three dollars but finding that a hard price to find presently, kind a pricey presently.

Depends on your view of quite quickly I guess, but at any rate, if they do get dusty quickly that imo is just an indication of how much dust they are keeping from getting buy them.
Main thing they let a lot more air flow past then compared to the matt types that are nothing but a sheet with tiny holes stamped in them, like these that come with many cases that usually cut airflow in half.

filters just block airflow, just make sure you have positive pressure and dust shouldn't really be an issue

Depends on the filter, anyway, you want to cool the inside of a case you need to take air in one end and exhaust it out another end, and taking air in is also going to take dust in there's just no way round it.

It wasn't Prime only last night when I bought them without a Prime account. But yeah, now only for Prime members.

Thanks OP

Thanks bud, I'll add them to my wish list and wait for them to go down. I need a bunch, so under $3 each would be ideal.
