They just released a new tassimo the Tassimo TM030 in November 2022 in Canada. So not sure about above statement.

I switched to kurig year before last (black Friday deal, otherwise I'd prob just go back to instant) because tassimo disks aren't really stocked at any of the grocery stores I go to, which definitely was not the case 3 years ago.
But you're right, there has been chatter about tassimo dying for the last 10 years(hell, I remember it being news when Zellers said they would stop selling it, and that was OVER 10 years ago) and evidently it's still around... Just harder and harder to find.

Never had trouble finding tassmo discs at Walmart or Superstore. Always stocked to the max... Some people are, the Tassimo system is awesome.
No DRM like Nespresso 2.0 pods.
Better fake cappuccino than Keurig.
An absolute winner.
Some makers have started making new Tassimo machines as well.

Personally we find the house blend to be a bit weak compared to the Columbian (the red one)
