[Amazon.ca] 59.99, reg $100+, EVGA Z15 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Hotswappable Silver or Bronze Switch, multiple retailers

I currently use the same keyboard in-between Mac and PC.
When I first got it in early 2021, it was $120+ but I can't seem to find a consistent regular price now..

according to Canada Computers, it was $169.99, now on sale for $59.99
Linear (Silver Switches)
https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_273_274&item_id=189230&language=en
Clicky (Bronze Switches) https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_273_274&item_id=189229

according to amazon, its just showing 59.99 for Linear (Silver Switches)
https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-Keyboard-Hot ... T658R?th=1
while the Clicky is showing $104+
https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-Keyboard-Hotswappable-Mechanical-821-W1-15US-KR/dp/B08VNT29L1?th=1

anyway, I find this keyboard pretty good, both in design and performance. Used it for gaming and everyday PC usage, no problem found.

the comparison chart below is just for reference...

it pretty loud, it will definitely annoy someone who is sleeping nearby lol
my advice is get it from amazon and return it if "performance is not as expected"

It's Silver or Brown switches... Both are Linear so non-clicky. They are much quieter than your standard Cherry Blue switches. That said, you'll still hear them if you are used to membrane keyboards.

My entire family has mechanical keyboards. It's the best decision ever. Makes a big difference on your fingers and of course typing experience is far superior as well.

Correction: It's Silver (linear) and Bronze (clicky) switches. The former is subdued whereas the latter is loud.

Linear switches are not loud compared to clicky switches but anyone can make them loud if they potato smash the keys into the plate. I'd argue anyone can make a keyboard loud if they typed like the Hulk.

That said, you can install o-rings on the keycaps to help dampen the noise.

Just FYI this keyboard has Bronze switches, not Brown switches. In terms of noise, bronze is much closer to blue switches than brown.

Great deal
Redragon K582 is hot-swappable and is regularly this price. I will say though that this keyboard is slightly better built, and has a volume wheel.

There's no reason not to buy a 60% keyboard over this unless someone doesn't like learning. You can do everything much faster and reach all the keys from arrows to numbers without lifting your hands

I don't know if they changed it, but it was hot-swappable, but would only take Outemu switches out of the box. IIRC for Cherry/Kailh/Gateron you had to clip each connector (as they are shorter on outemu), but I'm not sure.
