Price is decent but for a bit more the Ninebot backed by Costco customer support is the better buy for me.

Costco also added the Unagi to the site. Hoping for a sale on that in the future.

Hit the sweet spot. Had to buy one on two accounts to get the deal on two.

I want reliability and Costco protection but that's not worth $400 plus taxes

Hopefully craps out within 30 days

Seems like a pretty decent deal for a low end casual (& I emphasis very casual) escoot for bumming around on smooth paths. Kinda reminds me of the Xiaomi M365pro (I snagged from a RFD deal 2 winters ago) but with 20% more battery & bigger tires (10" instead of 8.5). No suspension means severe teeth chattering on less than ideal surfaces so take that into the equation.

I cfw'd my Xiaomi almost immediately & got 35-37kph at max battery which tailed off to ~30kph all the way thru with a range of 35kms at max throttle almost everywhere (which btw is pretty easy to do as 35kph isn't so fast after abit). So I'd say range on this Gotrax will likely be 40-45kms at pedal to the metal.

Not a bad buy IMO, considering that I paid $550 all in way back & sold it after 800kms on the clock for what I paid. But that was 2yrs ago. Personally I'd get this for a young teen on his 1st escoot.

At this price its a steal. Its very fast and powerful. I had it but returned it because of the scooter ban, but im considering buying it again because its so much fun.

Bought an Exway flex a year ago on preorder and some cloud wheels. Its been a blast, but not many people I know have them where I am.
I've ridden with someone else a couple times but most of my friends aren't comfortable on a skateboard.
SO bought one of these, hopefully someone will come ride with me.

Is it sold out or is it supped to be sold by and shipped by GOTRAX? Kind of hesitant with buying if no return policy...

I just took a peep at the order page & if my eyes are not lying to me, it says 17.5ah instead of 15.6ah OP listed. If that's the case, then this is a very good deal. I'd even say hott!! Range would likely be >50 & mayhaps even 60kms depending on rider weight & how judicious with the throttle.

Get this if one wants an inexpensive 1st scoot. Gets an upvote from me & I'm not even in the market!Thumbs Up Sign

Any idea how it scores against Gotrax Apex? Specifically for an entry-level scooter?

it's a good deal for a beater scooter, I would get it over a G30lp but would easily pay $400 more for a G30P

The range is about 17 miles so maybe 28 km? The G30P is around 40km and u don't need to carry around a brick charger

Amusingly, I sold my Xiaomi scoot for my 1st esk8 & a EUC. Now I've 2 esk8s & 4 EUCs in the quiver to the chagrin of my SO. Luckily we have somewhat of a PEV community here in Cowtown & we do regular grp rides.

Let me know if you're ever in my neck of the woods. We have a ton of dedicated bike paths here to exploreSign Of The Horns

For $650, I would give a try, do not think Segway Ninebot is one level vs Gotrax.

OP stated on his/her post to add code 2F7ZRE3B at the checkout for the $250 discount.
