Ya i'd be pretty suspicious about a surge protector that doesn't list how many joules its rated for, plus all the good ones claim they protect $200,000 of connected equipment warranty or something along those lines. Not sure if i believe them... lol I guess it all depends on what your plugging into this thing but if its a tv/computer i'd look for something better.

I don't see any electrical safety certifications mentioned anywhere, only sexy marketing... my suggestion is to stay away from ANY non-approved 120V device. Just imagine getting a claim cancellation letter from your insurance company after your house burns down due to a cheap non-approved electrical device being found at fault.
