Yeah terrible deal, even if you wanted the Intel 660p 512GB, Amazon itself if they had it in stock would've sold it cheaper. $74.99 was the cheapest they sold this drive for.

This is a terrible deal. The 660p itself is a fine drive, but only at capacities at or above 1TB due to write cache. The 1TB version also goes on sale for ~$120.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen a deal this terrible on SSD's. I'll have whatever you're smoking that made you think this was a decent deal.

Wow, so making overpriced CPUs wasn't enough for Intel, and now it wants to make overpriced SSD's too? God that awful company deserves to die so bad.

That speed is considered slow for a nvme ssd btw. On top of which its QLC based, which is slower than MLC or even TLC based nvme SSDs after the SLC cache is filled (Anandtech tested the write speed at 100MB after cache is filled).

 Pretty sure this is not Intel's doing it's just a bad deal posted. Plus tons of other companies are producing QLC garbaaage, it's not just Intel. 660p 512GB has been cheaper before and the 1TB not much more, as others have mentioned.

Agree with all comments here. Unless a QLC drive is dirt cheap, then get a TLC drive for better performance.

With TLC drives so cheap these days ($54.99 Staples deal on the Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB), how can companies sell QLC at these prices?

Got 2x 2TB for $239 each tax in, this is a baaaad. That said all the QLC hate is over-rated.
