ACDelco is the name for many General Motors OEM parts, they have probably allowed the manufacturer to use their name on the battery. These are likely a rebadged generic Chinese made alkaline cell. I don't know whether these are any better or worse than the well known brands. Probably okay for low value devices like toys and clocks.

In my experience all alkaline batteries have the potential to leak corrosive stuff and damage / destroy the contacts in the device in which they are installed. Murphy's law says the higher the value of the device, the more likely the battery will leak! I would not leave these (or any other other alkaline battery) in a high value device for any length of time. If you must do so, use an Energizer lithium.

Yeah, the old Gulfstream doesn’t take them either sadly. Now that I mention it, neither does that boat I have Lürssen working on.

I've had really good luck with the clamshell of AC Delco ( ♫ "Dee EEE ELLLLLE, SEEE OHH.." ♪) triple A batteries I bought.. pretty long lasting in low drain devices like remotes and thermostats/thermometers (haven't tried in high drain)... not a leak yet in about year of using (knock wood)
Xphile. (as in 'X-files aficionado'..so yeah, I guess I am old..)

I bought these once and they are by far the worst battery I have ever purchased. Never tried them in low drain devices like the poster above, but in kids toys they last minutes, some were a no go fresh from the box.
