Very decently priced, at least compared to the HP EX920 1TB I got around Christmas for $190. I would think the 1TB would sell out before the 512gb, but I guess these drives are used primarily to run the OS rather than data storage, thus don't need that big of a drive? I only have one m.2 slot on my Thinkpad X1C so I opted for a larger size.

I would've jumped on it but sold out on both already (1TB on waitlisting), especially the 512. Oh well! My wallet is safe for now.

Both the 512gb and 1TB were great deals. Bear in mind the ADATA SX8200 Pro series is solidly between the EVO and Pro lines from Samsung in terms of performance. Very respectable and good value for money.

Pity about the OOS.

Upvoted and appreciated OP.

God bless.

Great drive. I have the non pro version. Next best price for pro version is $129 at Can Computers.

If your os is on an nvme SSD already, how do you migrate it to a new nvme of you only have one nvme port?

Edit: Macrium reflect

Another option is Symantec Ghost (the free trial works). I prefer it over Macrium since I have had issues with Macrium before. You will need create a bootable WinPE USB drive. Macrium has an option to create this so it can run while your OS drive is not in use. You can then put the Ghost executable in the same USB drive, boot from USB and run Ghost from the command prompt. I run Ghost with extra arguments using the command below:

ghost64 -ntc- -ntil -ntexact

Then you just select Disk To Image, pick your source drive and name the image file. To apply an image, you select Disk From Image and select your backup image file. This always worked for me without issues.
