Just got the All-clad same size set from Bathbedandbeyond the only difference is B1 vs HA1.
Anyone can tell what's the difference?

I don't have this exact model but I have two from the same line.. I think it's a 10" and 12" with a lid. Paid a bit more than this. I've had them for 3 years and still work fine.

As with all non sticks, don't use high heat (prob wear the coating down pretty quickly) and you should be using cast iron for stainless steel for high

Don't expect the coating to last more than 5 years with regular use

Another Amazon review said this: Maybe it's our dishwasher, I'm not sure, but the non-stick coating flaked off quickly.

I think I'll stick to my seasoned cast iron.
Basil: Well, may I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically -?

All non-stick coatings wear out. Don't buy an expensive one. You're better off getting cheap ones and replacing them as they wear out, or ideally (if you don't need the absolute best in terms of "non-stickiness"), go for a cast iron, sand it down and then season it.

People are saying it's their own fault for the non-stick failing because they are using it on high heat, but according to the description these pans can be used in a 500F oven. I doubt many people are cooking at 500F frequently.

I have the 10" and 12" ones of these (bought them at the Bay, on sale, about a year ago). These pans rock. Especially at this price. Might not last forever, but hey, they're $55.

Edit: don't put them in the dishwasher

noob question/point: evenly heated oven vs bottom heated range?

Got the same pans on sale from the Bay a little while back and use them every single day. These are great if you need induction capable. Don't use metal utensils and don't stick them in the dishwasher if you want them to last.

I've had this set for a little less than a year. The performance has definitely gone down since I first got them, but they still work decently. Used daily and never went above 8/10 on the stove. Always hand washed. I expect to get maybe another year or two out of them before I have to replace them.
