Thanks OP! Great price. Been eating this stuff for years. I add powdered stevia extract to sweeten it up.

Or you can mix quick oats with nuts and raisins/craisins or whatever you like.

I'd love to see you mix a box of this with comparable ingredients for three bucks.

The nuts alone will cost you three bucks.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to combine these 4 ingredients yourself? Like the oats cost $2 for a massive bag

Generally the case for most things of this nature.

It’s crazy that these cereals go on about how healthy they are but contain added oil. It does say that the oil is expeller pressed, which is better than not. However, if you are serious about creating a healthy cereal, why add oil at all?

Who told you that poly-unsaturated fats are bad for you and why did you believe them? This is some 1980s level nonsense.

Sunflower oil is also high in Omega-6 due to the linoleic acid, which is important for maintaining good cholesterol.

This use to be my favorite cereal until I started to make my own. Great texture and taste. Lots of oats and fruit added with nuts. I would often mix it with other things to kind of stretch it out longer and a large bowl of it was pretty heavy.

It’s not at all comparable to adding a couple nuts, dried fruit, and oats. There is a great flavor balance to Allen cereal.

$3 is a steal.

The difference between wanting and needing is how you justify it.

There is a trace of nuts in these things. Maybe three nuts sliced paper thin per bowl. You're right, I'd end up putting much more nuts since i can't slice them like that.

It's omega 3 that you want more of. Most people are consuming way too much 6.
