[Amazon.ca] Amazon Basics Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper $10.67

In stock Oct 27 and delivery Nov 1-2 but can add to cart and purchase now.

Original price might be high but $10 seems a decent price for a basic wire stripper.

this looks like my Irwin. If it work just as good, then that is a good price.

For this price, I’ll absolutely give it a shot! So tired of using my pliers and I have a bunch of receptacles to replace yet

I had one of these from Canadian Tire mastercraft branded. I used it multiple times per day for about 8 months on small gauge wire for automotive wiring. Eventually it stopped gripping, I think I paid $12 for it on sale.

Went in, instant exchange with no headaches.

Things that could / will break I love Mastercraft for.

Edit: I removed the stopper that you see pretty much right away and just set the wire against the inside of the right wall before stripping.

Oh. And I cranked down the brass dial, but that’s based on your wire gauge. Fat = loose. Thin = tight.
