With the continuous drop in demand for Cosmetic/Beauty products, I believe a minimum of 50% discount should come soon.

I feel like there’s been an uptick in skincare, as more people are focusing on improving their skin/doing self-care. For example, Cerave cleansers/lotions went viral on TikTok/YouTube and has been consistently sold out for several months.

I believe @lcmt is correct, and Neutrogena is even running commercials, covid related, saying their products aren't only for makeup removal.

There may be certain brands doing better than others, but from what I've seen, Neutrogena is not one of them.

I agree people are buying more skincare (especially for hand) because people are using too much hand sanitizer. Products are sold out doesn't necessarily mean an increase in demand. It may be a supply issue. Anyway, if there is no decrease in demand, then the retailer won't need to offer a good discount.

On second thought, I agree with you. I noticed Shoppers has been pushing deals for Neutrogena/Aveeno. Last month, I got HydroBoost fragrance free face lotion on BOGO and yesterday picked up their ultra gentle cleansers for buy 2, get 1 free with $ off coupons attached to the pumps.

Moreso brands like Cerave and The Ordinary have grown to cult status as people are researching ingredients and want something gentler/targeted to specific skin concerns.

Some of those Eucerin moisturizers are on discount too. The prices are more 'cyclical' rather than 'historical,' though.

Somehow I never seem to understand why makeup is so socially acceptable but cosmetic surgery isn't as much. Both attempts of deception, just one being less permanent and much more primitive.
