Search "sofa" , Amazon Canada. I saw this. The odd thing is that it ranked 38 in Living Room furniture category, but with no review, in Amazon, or anywhere else.

it was ranked 38 in the living room category, it is now 1st. and i got 6 up, and 1 down vote, not mentioning why. I think this is a deal, and hope this is a deal.

Wouldn't expect a couch with real leather at this price. Lethaire is a type of faux-leather. I'm buying two and Hopefully it lasts a few years

Brassex has a website which claims they are a Canadian manufacturer... Would say this is on par with Brick quality at a third of the prixe. Other Brassex products on amazon appeared to comment an overal decent build quality, mostly on bed frames.

If you're fine with replacing your sofa in 3 years, this is admitadly a good deal.

honestly, people should stop calling things 'leather' when they are not leather. Call it what it is, synthetic fabric covering.

I'd say 5 year replacement time frame recently having a couch and love seat fail on me from the brick. Was bonded leather and has started to peel and bubble like nothing I've ever seen. That said this price I agree is 1/3 the cost of comparables and is a great deal.

Even if it lasts 5 years it will probably start to look really ugly after 2.
That said, might be a good deal with light use and if you have realistic expectations.

Thanks OP. Needed something for a short term where it will hardly get any use.

Thanks op! This sofa retails between 697-899 @ Walmart, staples Lowe's etc.. At this price shipped plus taxes, definately worth a shot. Couldn't be any worse than the crap the Brick sells @ 3x the price. Besides, googled their website and looks to be a large Canadian manufacturer. GL
