Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a pretty fun Zelda-esque game with a handful of gaming and cultural references for adults.

Are these games through amazons own game platform, or do you register them through steam/epic/uplay/whatever....?
I have a friend with an amazon prime account i occasionally use, and i doubt he ever claims these games, so i might ask him to send me the registration codes if they're not restricted to some amazon system. If they are locked into that ecosystem, i'll spare myself the embarrassment of asking and finding out i cant use them(or he actually already uses them).

It's a mix, some through Epic / Origin etc (not steam) and some on Amazon's own platform. I think we need to wait to find out.

If it’s not at least 50% off is it really a deal?

How's the level scaling of enemies in these games?

For many freemium Android games, I read reviews about purchases/equipment become obsolete quickly. Forgot the right terminology.

Logitech controller should work for these PC games, right? Couldn't get PS3 controllers to work.

Wow I am excited for Oblivion. I tried it on 360 but the graphics were so bad, will be able to mod it on PC and really enjoy it this time.

Not much interested in games after buying that 122 game Humble Bundle pack. What about perks for games? Anything for April? Is there a spot I can view that info?

If the game is on multiple storefronts, I think most will not be steam. PvZ will definitely be Origin. Oblivion most likely bethesda launcher. Turnip and monkey island most likely GoG. The rest being Twitch launcher.

what's up with EA trying so hard to give away their games? Every month there's EA flagship...

Madden, NFS, PVS, BF2 I think, probably battlefield at some point, etc.

edit: fallen order as well

Last year Amazon and EA had announced they made an agreement on several of their games being given away on the platform. No clue how long it will continue (don't think they had specified that).

Typically in these deals, the publishers get a set amount of money for the game to be given away. Most games make a good portion of their sales within the first few months or so of release. For a large publisher like EA, the incentive is they're receiving an influx of cash on titles that have already made the bulk of their sales prior to be given away. As well, they're broadening and reaching new audiences. There are many other ways they can make money off these giveaways such as Ultimate Team tokens/packs in Madden, DLC in games such as Battlefield, etc.. As well I'm sure they're hoping a small percentage of people who have played these titles for the first time (because of the giveaways) end up liking them enough that they may purchase the next iteration in whatever the series of game is when it releases.

For those wondering about platforms:
Oblivion redeems on GOG.com
Plants vs Zombies redeems on Origin
House of 1000 Doors redeems on Legacy Games (personally probably not going to bother making an account just for that one, but to each their own)
The other 5 are all through Amazon's own platform
