So is this equivalent to all the other 3 layer masks on the market that are priced cheaper in store?

To me, they do look the same as all those other ones.

Here's another place to look for them.. Costco. They're usually cheaper than the average price in the market

Is it any better than the 3 layer masks available almost everywhere? I think the going rate is around 15$ for a 50pc pack. I always see a lot of stock at places like Walmart and Homedepot.

Not sure, but these are actually graded and certified so that makes them seem a fair bit better imo

No those are regular masks, doesn't matter how many layers those non medical graded masks are only good for protection against pollen/ dust etc. People generally use those for light duty tasks like cleaning washrooms or vacuuming.

Seems expensive. I bought a box of 50 for $10 on amazon two weeks ago.

Edit... nevermind, mine were non-medical and $7.50 for 50

I've ordered a box of Thinka masks before, pretty good quality and it's ASTM Level 1. They have aluminum nose piece which fits much better than the ones that come with plastics.

If you want to go for something more stylish/fashionable, get the black one for $19.99 Smiling Face With Sunglasses

That is so true.
Only the middle layer is different, the rest are the same.
Well, only the middle layer matter in this case though.

You can test and compare masks by their air resistance.
You can do so by blow a candle, or breath.
Usually the harder you breath, or, the harder you blow the fire off, the better the mask is.

Hard to tell until you have them in hand. I work in a hospital and wear ASTM all day, the wire is stiff and conforms tightly over the nose across the cheeks, anti-fog. When I stretch them up and down, they actually measure wider than non-medical masks. The hoops are also plusher/thicker for comfortable extended wear.

Level 1 is only good for general use. We've saved some level 3 in case we need to go to the hospital.
