Is this umbrella better than the Dollarama Pocket Flip brella for $4?

Dollarama Pocket Flip brella flips inside out in wind, this doesn't according to description ( has wind vent ).

It's a really good umbrella. I've had mine for 2 years and no issues with flipping inside out. Open/close mechanism still works perfectly too.

I have this umbrella and had it invert due to winds when I went to Korea. It wasn't the strongest winds ive ever experienced but still kinda disappointed it did cause I thought the wind vents would prevent it. Should be better than a lot of other umbrellas though with strong winds.

Just a heads up for people expecting this to be invincible with all winds.

I have had this for about a year. I can say for sure the wind vent works very well. It has not flipped on me once vs other umbrellas I have used over the years constantly flip over during strong winds.

I bought this around a year ago on the basis of the recommendation by The Wirecutter. I'd previously bought a string of cheap generic umbrellas from Shoppers Drug Mart, Winners, etc. and they would invariably get totally trashed within the first couple of windy rainstorms. The Amazon one has lasted way longer and has never inverted. (I also bought the Repel umbrella from the Wirecutter review and it has held up just fine as well, but doesn't seem to offer any advantage over the cheaper Amazon model.)

This umbrella has quality metal ribs and good stitching. It's totally worth it at this price. I have two already, but got a third to keep in the car.

Had this umbrella for almost two years. No issues, it's well maid and can withstand Canadian winds.

Of course! Anything that blocks light will also block UV rays.

Want to order one but what does the Tavelon mini independence bag black mean? That that's just the price of the bag or is that umbrella with a bag?

It's a holster for your umbrella.
