[Amazon.ca] AmazonBasics Hex Dumbbell 35 lbs - 58.94

First post here.

Just saw Amazon's Rubber Hex Dumbbel at a pretty good price on the 35 lbs.

I purchased the 25 lbs for not much more ealier this month, quality is OK.

For those that can't get close to those at Costco's. In for 2.

The smell goes away. The annoying part for me with the 25 lbs is the gnarling feels different between the two. One feels kind of worn down

My 40 pounders still smell and it’s been a couple weeks since they arrived. I think it’s slowly dissipating.

Yes, from other brands. These max out at 50lb.

$58.94 for 35lb is $1.68/lb. For $2/lb you can buy dumbbells in many weights from your local fitness store (assuming they have stock) that won't smell.

i ordered a 40lb...the rubber part was oily, i had to wipe it with lysol wipes before using it.

My 40lb pair had a smell for a month or so before dissipating. Amazon also has Amazon Basics kettlebells for a decent price too. However, while my pair of 40lb dumbbells were delivered just fine, my 45lb kettlebell was refused by the delivery service and marked "undeliverable" (I am in Toronto!). I called Amazon to complain and see if I could just drive to the Milton/Brampton warehouse to pick it up but they were unable to facilitate that on their end. So I was refunded (because the item was out of stock) and had to wait a few weeks for them to come back in stock again and try my order again! Luckily, it was delivered the second time.

That's a strange experience! Also shocked they were having none of it for Toronto shipping hahah!

OOS again. 45lbs were available for a short time this morning for about $70 each.

For the AmazonBasics dumbbells (and kettlebells) various weights go in and out of stock. Seen 20, 25, 30, 40, 45 recently (oddly no 35 lb, or I just missed seeing those).
Their kettlebells are not a really great deal.
