[Amazon.ca] AmazonBasics Safety Ear Muffs Ear Protection, Black and Red, and Safety Glasses, Smoke Lens $15.93

Amazon's description:
  • Safety earmuffs (black and red) and safety glasses combo pack provide ear and eye protection; ideal for shooting ranges, construction sites, yard work, and more
  • Adjustable headband on earmuffs and adjustable nylon frame on glasses help ensure a secure fit and customized comfort
  • Earmuffs offer a 26dB NRR (Noise Reduction Rating), are ANSI S3.19-1974 certified, and are made of ABS, PU, and cushioning sponge material
  • Durable, yet lightweight glasses with polycarbonate lens (smoke) are anti-UV, anti-fog, ANSI Z87.1, CSA Z94.3, EN166, and AS/NZS 1337 certified
  • Earmuffs measures 6.1 by 6.2 by 3.9 inches (LxWxH); glasses measure 6.1 by 5.8 by 1.9 inches (LxWxH); backed by an AmazonBasics 1-year limited warranty
Just stumbled upon this product. This set had been sold for $29.75 until June 29th, then the price dropped in 2 steps to the current level.

Now, granted, this is nowhere near a professional equipment set. The earmuffs are not electronic, just 26 dB NRR muffs. But for the price, you're getting 2 ANSI-certified items. And it's AmazonBasics, so you're guaranteed at least half-decent quality.
I wouldn't recommend this for everyday activities, but this may be a good option to keep as spares in your range bag for when you invite an occasional friend to join.

There's a similar set with clear lens glasses, $21.03 at the moment: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07KCSXHJQ/

I have the yellow variant of the hearing protectors, after going with nothing while mowing the lawn. Perfect for home use. I assume whining shop tools would require better protection. The foam earplugs I can buy keep falling out, Will they silence the neighbour's rap music? No. Only the donation of a 24-pack works - so far.

Thank you for appending this information to the thread.
I saw those too but wasn't sure how wide of a net I should cast ;-)
Thank you for covering for my laziness ;-)

As a side note, if you compare $15.93 for the set with the glasses vs. the $12.66 for just the earmuffs, I personally would go for the former. Simply because you're getting an extra pair of glasses for ~3 bucks - and one can never have too many protective glasses ;-)
They break, they get scratched, lost & left behind... I always love to have a spare pair in each car, and in my EDC bag, and in my hiking backpack too - essentially, everywhere where I may find myself in need for sunglasses and have the main pair break in the least fortunate moment, or just forgotten at home :-)

And kids set for $15.67 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07H2RR8DB
or other colours for $13.99 https://www.amazon.ca/Mpow-Comfortable- ... 0756SHY3X/

Well, those glasses are useless for those with prescription glasses :)
I did buy your listing for my dad though, he always needs them.

Not bad but I see some better protection for a few dollars more. If I'm going to go this route, I'd probably get the one taking off a few more DBs IMO.

I have a similar one from way back when, some 20 years ago, and have to say they're pretty crappy :-( Poor sound insulation, uncomfortable, not a very tight fit.
But as a true RFD-er I'm in serious awe for how much cheaper those are ;-)

I got these, they are pretty good and easy to spot in a messy workplace such as mine.

Although I did lose the last pair that was yellow, I have no idea how and where...
