wanna take this to another level? order both the 3200g ($210) and 3400g ($140), receive 3400g and 3200 respectively. Then keep the 3400g, return the actual 3200g and get refunded $210.
I think they check serial numbers for return items.

Perhaps he just takes the CPU, return the 3200 with a 3400 package. If he did that, I believe all accounts from this address will be banned permanently once Amazon finds out.

If he returns the 3200 to the 3400 order, he won't received any refund as the system only cares about the UPC plus the unique serial number. The system don't care the description of the order.

Shipped, arriving Thursday

I wanted to do mini itx build but damn, the mobos be expensive Disappointed Face
You have a couple options if you want to buy a B450/X470 ITX mobo.

I contacted Asrock for the Fatal1ty ITX and they told me that you could:

A) contact the retailer and see if they will ship you a mobo that is updated (good luck with that)
B) contact AMD and have them ship you a loaner 200 GE processor so you can update it (requires serial numbers for both the CPU and mobo as well as communications between yourself and the manufacturer of your mobo, showing that the only realistic option is AMD's warranty offer)
C) ship your mobo back to the manufacturer and they will update it for you. You may have to pay for shipping.

Alternatively, you could contact a company like Canada computers who can update it for you for a fee.

I chose A and had no luck so i just returned the mobo and bought a Gigabyte X570 ITX.

FYI I called Canada Computers and they charge $50 to perform the update, not free. They have a special if you buy the CPU AND the Motherboard from them then they will charge a special price of "only" $25...

I did say for a fee. Didn't say it was free.

Oh wow. I was under the impression that if you buy both cpu and mb at the same time, they will offer you to update BIOS for free. Thanks for letting us know that is not the case. Maybe I was thinking about Memory Express.

You buy the CPU and MOBO from Memory Express and they will install CPU and update BIOS for free. Did this yesterday with a mini itx MOBO and took 15 min. They will also let you know if the BIOS is beta (e.g. MSI for their mini itx mobo) and you can decide if you still want to purchase or go with another mobo. I went with the Asus mobo.

+1 for Memory Express for this service!

It is Memory Express.

People on reddit mentioned that Memory Express offers that service if you buy from them.

Wonder what happens if I return the 3400 in the 3200 package ?

Don't be surprised if Amazon suspends your account

Never do that. As long as you don't return the original product, Amazon will flag your account and the outcome is unknown. Amazon won't care even you put a diamond or gold inside, they just want the original product back.
