I don't shop for this stuff regularly so I don't know what the avg going rate is, but based on the product/reviews/price history $32 seems pretty hot. Also checking around other retailers, similar products are $50+.

If you're not looking for the absolute best RC cars, I'd recommend taking a look at Rastar. I'm also no expert, but I've got a few of these at work (lambo, ford gt, bmw i8) and no complaints after a year

$24 for a lambo:

These looks nice but I don’t think they’ll work in water or snow, which is the key selling point of the one posted above. Two completely different types of cars really.

Is it too much for a three year old? He has other RC cars that are not this fast and he does fine.
