consider it a disposable item

if you get 2-3 years out of it, it's worth the price you paid

That's just a small portion. Out of 775 reviews, only 55 of them were 1 star with the other 2-3 stars claiming it just charges slow. Having said that, that's only 7% of what those reviewers claimed to be defective. It's still holding a strong 4.5/5 rating review. I've had mine for two years and no issues, I'm actually buying another one.

Same, I bought mine in February and have no issues with it. It's small and light enough to carry around in your pack without being annoying, charges quick enough. I bought a larger one that I couldnt stand hauling around, so this is a good compromise. I paid $39.99 for mine at the time.

Should never pay full price for anything this close to Black Friday and Boxing week. It's always a good idea to check the item's price history if and when it has been on sale before. Historically speaking, this item doesn't go on sale much and right now it's an all-time low.

Does this work for an iPhone just by swapping the cable to lightning, and is it rapid-charging it?

Thanks,

Edit: Nevermind, I realized it does...

How does this compare to the 19.99$ Ubio Labs 10000mAh that comes with a wall charger at Costco?

Anker is probably the most respected mobile accessories brand, and thus demands a bit of a premium. Costco is just selling a random 10000mah power bank really but you do get a Costco warranty along with it. There can be a decent variation between power banks based on their own efficiencies and features. The anker is most likely the better option.

Will take longer to charge this power bank without a PD charger.
