This isn't a cable you use to just charge your phone with.

As posted in OP it's an alternative cable to the quest link cable for VR that costs few times as much as other users have found the functions comparable

I previously tried a generic USB c cable to hook up my quest to my pc to play Squadrons and kept getting connection issues and weird frame tearing. Researched online and got this and fixed it

Some of you might be confusing Anker with Aukey. Never heard of Anker emailing anyone to change their bad reviews. I have many of their product and they refunded me a headphone that had issues, no questions asked. And none of my anker products ever came with a suggestion to leave a review anywhere.

I'll upvote. This is a solid brand with lifetime warranty. Quality cables are not cheap. Anker and Aukey make quality products and their support is excellent.

Make sure we are comparing apples to apples here when it comes to quality and service.

Thanks @OP!

Will this charge the quest while playing? I have an asus tuf x570 motherboard. My current USB c cable does not, it gets 2.5ghz on the oculus test.

this is an email i got after they replaced a broken item as a result of a negative review.

"We know how important it is for customers to hear directly from other buyers about product and service quality. If you’re satisfied with our service and your experience with the new item, please consider sharing your story once again, just like you did! This way, you're helping other Amazon users find their way to more innovative technology that we believe will benefit their lives.

If there is anything else you might need for me, please don't hesitate to let me know! I'm here to make sure you're satisfied."

To be fair they did not ask me to change my negative review, they just asked to share my story again, which i think is fair game.

Anker employee here. Never heard of us paying for reviews or asking to change reviews.
In fact all the Amazon bans on Aukey and RavPower lately has gotten us extremely giddy internally because that was something we refused to do (pay for reviews, etc.)

Please DM me the email and I can look into this.

If it’s actually a good product and does what it’s suppose to, why is it such a big deal.

Anyway….. Is deal dead because I see $21.99 for 10ft black. Recently got a Quest 2 and want a VR compatible cable.

Got this for one of my kids who has a Quest 2. Works great! Had previously got another noname cable that didn't work.
No way was I paying $100+ for the official cable.

I have the same cable but older type one - Usb to Micro usb. Works great. Been using it for 3 to maybe 4 years now. Had to buy some micro usb to usb c adapters to continue using the cable as it's a waste to just chuck it somewhere when I upgraded my phone.

My sister was so jealous of me when I brought it on our trip. She can't charge her phone and use it at the same time as her cable was the typical 3 feet one while I'm sitting comfortably on the couch browsing on the phone while charging.
