Just happened to see arcade1up street fighter II for sale on Amazon.ca.
This is a classic game and one of the best choice for mod if you like to. Its normal price is about $450~$500 and it is $379.32 withprime shipping.

I believe it was $355 last week. Remember, you'll either need to build or buy a riser. The Arcade 1up riser is $100

Yeah. It's perfect height for my kids. It's nice without the riser.

I modded mine. I don't have a riser but, like others here, it is the perfect height for my kid. And I just sit on a leather stool.

It contains 3 editions of SFII. If you like to mod to add more games, you need to replace the circuit with a machine like a cheap pc or a raspberry Pi to run RetroPi. You might also need 2 new set of joysticks buttons decoder and a panel controller.
The best part of SFII is that you have 6 holes for buttons already. It is generally good for most of old school games. And it’s ratio of display is also good for many games.

If it is the older version, just write to CS, arcade1up will send you a protector for free. But I have to say the newer version has a better display panel if you care.

I have an arcade legends cabinet which is much taller than the Arcade1up and I had to order a 5 inch riser for it. At 6'4" I'd not be able to play an Arcade1up with a stool and no riser.

Edit: Fortunately my kids are older at 8 and 11. The 8 year old is as tall as the 11 year old so we good with risers in our family of sasquatches....except my wife, she's really short

On related topic, any recommendation of those Pandora joystick console (latest is v12?) - seem good for users who don’t want to assemble/mod and come with 3000 games and can hook to any TV? Those go for $200?

I just picked up an AtGames Legend Ultimate so a bit biased but if you are considering a Pandora unit, I would look at the AtGames Legend Gamer Pro. Same idea and once you load up Coinops X, you can have a ton of games. Very easy to setup. I’m still tinkering with mine but it supports streaming from your PC (Xbox) as well. The Brick sells the AtGames stuff in Canada.
