ARESGAME Power Supply 500W 80+ Bronze Certified PSU (AGV500)
$25.00 coupon applied.

fakespot review rating D, product is actually good despite the unknown brand

personally have bought this PSU 2x and works perfectly fine, also has a freebie tester to short the pins.
as a ref, have bought a new antec psu and it already had coil whine out of the box.

I did some research, it seems this PSU is made by Sloy-Tech.
My guess is that ARESGAME use sloy-tech's ODM PSU with ARESGAME branding.

Don't cheap out on the PSU. Spend a bit more and get the EVGA 500 BR, 80+ Bronze 500W which goes on sale for $29.99.

but this evga IS cheaping it out...

DYOR. some of you may argue that the reviews are manufactured, but i go through a significant amount of reviews starting from 1 star, and weirdly enough, the evga is not any better.

also i will stress it again, and for obvious reasons, if you are building a PC with an RTX that you bought for 3000$, then buy the most expensive PSU you can find!

Just adding my comments..

While cheap power supplies work fine, the part you don't know is when they may suddenly fail..

I had previously used an ocz power supply before they went bankrupt. One time the power supply died but during its death must had provided a surge to the power to my connected components to the power supply. As a result, my dvd writer burnt out. Luckily mother supply and videocard was fine. But any power supply can work.. It's when it fails are there anything in place to prevent further damages is the question.

I stopped buying bronze rated power supply long time ago though.

Good insight, however, the rating is solely defining its efficiency, not the components or perhaps an existing fuse that kills the surge, no?

Rating is by efficiency. But I would expect gold rated which cost more than bronze anyways to hopefully have better protection.
