[Amazon.ca] Arko Shaving Soap Stick (pack of 12) - $12.10 or $14.74

The Arko shaving soap (pack of 12) is on for $14.74. I actually paid $1 or so more than this in mid-2020 and thought it was a great deal back then. It had actually sat in my cabinet until very recently when I tried it, and I must say it's quite good, especially for someone with sensitive skin like me (was afraid of it being too drying, but it was not). I didn't even use a brush to apply - just wet my face and the top of the stick, applied, and used my fingers to lather up. Considering that my 'go to' shaving cream costs $10-$13 for a single tub when on sale and definitely won't last even close to as long, I'd say this is a great value if you're looking for cost-effective shaving supplies!

Edit: @bob2208 points out it is now available for $12.10 with a longer shipping time (look to the right of the listing - New(2) from $12.10)

Thanks OP, perfect timing as I'm down to my last 1. I bought my last 12-pack in November 2018, and I shave my face AND my head with these... they last a heck of a long time.

Thanks for this, OP. Just got a safety razor, used it with Gilette gel, this is much better priced. A person could add some essential oils to it if you want to play with the scent a bit.

For the price you can't do better.
There is no shelf life marked on the box or bar.
I bought a box last October and I'm just finishing my second bar of twelve.
If you buy it, you will not need to purchase another soap for years.

There is a phone number to call if you want.
Ha ha ha

But think about how smooth and luxurious it would be. I literally ordered it just because it IS a tallow based soap.

Well you don’t need to eat the stick. I doubt it would taste any good.

I bought 2 boxes of these back in 2014.

I shave 3-4 times a week.

I still have a full box and half of the first box left. At this rate these bars will last me until retirement.

You walked from 12 urinals away to tell me that.

Tallow based shaving creams are the best. Nothing comes close.

Oh ok, lets not use tallow for shaving cream, and let it go to the landfill because its inedible. Its already carved off of meat used for steaks.. Do vegans think cows are killed for shaving cream?

Does that mean I can use it as a candle in a pinch? Anyone in the GVRD interested in splitting a pack? Don't need all 12 bars.

Don't worry.... They'll tell you.
I was just answering a question from someone else. It had nothing to do with what you eat as opposed to what I eat. I am not PETA, I eat what I want. You can eat whatever you want.
If you feel the need to attack me for that, I'm fine with that. Whatever gets you through the day

Do you need a bowl and brush to use this?
