The G14 is the way to go...
I'll wait for a better review to see what panel the G15 is. The response time on the G14 panel is horrendous.

Yep, it's pretty counterproductive to have a high refresh rate display if it's slow as hell to begin with. I believe it's a VA panel which is traditionally slower than both TN and IPS.
Looks like the G15 might have a less color accurate display but being IPS it'll probably be good enough and worth it over a slow VA panel.

max q 1660 ti kills this deal imo

TUF with 17" screen (120hz) and 1660ti for $1400 is way better deal

There are 3 display options on the G14. The base one is average, the other two are very good.

The G14 is positioned as the higher-end product compared to the G15.
