Someone please explain to me why this is more expensive than this one below.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09CBS8ZF3
ASUS Phoenix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 V2
‎1807 MHz @ 12GB DDR6

The ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti V2 specs are
1785 MHz @8GB DDR6

What am I missing. I got a 1080ti and looking to upgrade before it dies so wondering what specs I should be looking at to compare cards.

I am good with my 1660ti with my 1080p gaming 2nd monitor. Only buy 3060ti when it is 550 cad. Primary monitor is 3440*1440 144hz. Just buy another 1080p gaming monitor to play game on pixels to pixels.thanks op anyway. An least I know graphics card price is falling.

Still not even close to MSRP... I remain patient. Asus has always been the most overpriced along with Zotac also pulling some ridiculous scalper level pricing considering the quality of their cards vs Asus.

Yeah, very bad timing to buy GPU now for regular people who just need GPU for gaming.
Price drop will be happening for next while

Terrible deal.

Asus TUF 3070ti popped up at $880 at Memory Express, Newegg and Canada Computers yesterday.

It was available again at Newegg for $890 an hour ago

Asus said they're cutting prices by up to 25% in April. Absolutely mad to buy a 3060 ti for just $110 less than a 3070ti.

Why are you afraid your 1080Ti is going to die? With prices dropping as much as they are right now, it is a horrible time to buy "just in case".

Your 1080Ti should last for quite a few years as long as it wasn't used for mining and is in a PC with decent cooling/airflow and a quality PSU. If the cooling/PSU is the problem I'd suggest fixing them as will be much cheaper than buying a replacement $750+ GPU.

If you are wanting to compare two GPU's I'm a big fan of userbenchmark.com. Try this: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/N ... 3918vs4090 . It's not perfect as depending on the game and resolution some cards will perform better than others, but as long as taking these results with a grain of salt it's good for a simple comparison.
