Is this considered to be similar in performance to a super? Seems like a really good price for a budget build.

I don't look into computer components anymore. But has the progression of graphics cards been really slow as of late? The RX 570 I paid under $150 for is not that much slower. And that was over a year ago.

just get RX 570 its basically the same thing and I paid around $100-$120 2 years ago so you can probably get it around that price if they still make the model or a new equivalent

I read the reviews it seems AMD equivalents always run hotter,
not good if you have the case next to you playing games in the summer.

Decent deal, seem on part with gtx 1070 performance wise which still goes for 300$ used and without warranty. Heck even used gtx 1060 6gb are in the 200$ ball park. This has less physical output thought..

Edit: my bad I thought it was the supper..not 1070 performance

Hrmmmm.....

Price almost seems too good to be true... what's amazon's general policy when it comes to OOS items at these kinds of prices.... do they try to honour the price in the future (they are saying to order it for when it comes back into stock) or do they just let it die and never fulfill it?

edit: double hrmmm..... the pricing doesn't seem completely out to lunch, but the similarly priced units are 4GB vice the 6GB listed here... misidentified product maybe?

will next gen offer better performance for same price range? And is this worth upgrading from an RX 570 or should i just sit tight for next gen GPU?

EDIT: Screw it, I'm holding out for next gen =o

This card is roughly equivalent to the RX590. either way, nvidia cards seem to command a premium due to power efficiency. AMD is good at raw power for cheaper, but you'll pay for it with heat and higher power consumption.
