I bought this board from Amazon and it was DOA. Amazon refused the refund. They appear to have been getting pretty rigid on policies of late - you'll probably be ok, but caveat emptor..

Just use the built in return function? I don't see how you'd have an issue returning it. Amazon is the least strict company in the world when it comes to returning.

I call BS. Literally the only thing Amazon won't return is liquids...

I recently purchased a motherboard for $89.99 from Amazon (about 3 weeks ago), purchased new and had a used board sent. Went through the chat to figure out if they wanted me to return it or what (as the sale had ended and I didn't want to pay more now). They sent me another motherboard (which was actually new this time) and told me to keep the used one. Super easy process, but I am a Prime member, so maybe they're nicer to me.

On a side note, I now have this used motherboard that I'm not sure what to do with.

You can keep the used board as part, will come in handy if the one breaks

This actually has also happened to me. I'm not sure if our accounts are flagged of some sort- but I was denied a return on a faulty set of speakers.

Ordered 'Gigaworks T 40 Series II Black' and it came faulty.
Initiated a return label on self-serve and to my surprise, I had to contact them.
Upon contacting them through chat and phone with about 4-5 reps, they ALL denied my return.
Most reps told me this item didn't qualify for their 30 day warranty support as it was a 'music item' even though right on the product page, it says this product falls under their policy as an electronic.
One or two reps said it was due to Covid (this was back in January when Omicron was hitting) but I never heard of Amazon denying refunds due to Covid.
All reps wanted me to contact the manufacture.
I called my cc provider and issued a chargeback.

I can only conclude that our accounts may be flagged and seen as having a high rate of returns/issues but not really sure...

I dont return a ton of stuff, but I've never had any problems previously. Makes no sense if you bought it new and it was defective, that they wont return it.

Pretty decent price for sure but I dont follow stuff too closely - my son has the MSI B450 tomahawk and it's been rock solid.

is the product un-returnable? some are. if that's case you can't return unless defective i guess. otherwise, the system would generate a return label. you got a screenshot ?

Considering you're coming from Toronto (based on profile tag) with the price of gas right now, you're probably better off ordering from Amazon :P.
