[Amazon.ca] (ATL) (NO HEATSINK) WD Black 2TB SN850 NVMe SSD, $347.76

TLDR:
It's more than the Samsung that went ATL few weeks ago.... but some of us without PCs are having hard times updating the firmware on the samsung stick to unlock better speeds.

Anyways, I'm grabbing this WD one.

Also Sabrent PS5 heatsink is on sale as well, $24.98: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09HSQQWCL

This combo is slightly cheaper than WD's 2TB stick with their own heatsink, for PS5s. That SSD is at ATL as well, $384.99: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08PMLYV9H/

EDIT: phrasing
EDIT2: Even cheaper!

Don't need the drive, but I've never really thought about updating firmware on my SSDs. I will do that tonight, thanks.

Isn't the XPG Gammix S70 better?

Overall similar (S70 seems slightly better) specs, comes with a heatsink and is 299$ right now on Amazon

On one occasion I lost my data on firmware update.

Worth it, but back up important data.

XPG also has a reputation of swapping their hardware for lower-grade in the long run. Tbh, at this point, better specs will result in milliseconds of performance. And all of this is theoretical so in real world settings, I'd doubt you'd see noticeable differences. I'd still go for WD for the customer service and warranty.
