[Amazon.ca] Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT (Bluetooth) 179.99$

Lowest price I ever observed for this model. Confirmed by CCC as well (lowest previous price was around 190$ during Prime Day)

Good review here:

You can actually find the same price at Bestbuy also.

Usually, "normal" price is around 279$. (Bestbuy, Archambault, as well as Amazon even if it says 229$...)

I have a feeling that any delays when watching videos might be software related rather than headset related. Might be wrong though.

A little but better than most BT headphones I've used.

Take a look at new razer earpods. if you care about delay time. but they are not over the ear headphones. and no NC either. but also bit cheaper.

It is not software related. it is a common issue for all bluetooth devices. Transfer rates are not as fast as compared to wired transmission due to no. of factors such as processing overhead load of wireless transmission takes longer compared to wired. hence the delay.

How do these compare in the bass department compared to DT770s?

rtings shows 224ms latency which is worse than most everything in this price range.
JBL E65 which are one sale for $100 today have 120ms latency.

Sweet always had my eye on M50 but moved to wireless when i got an iPhone 8. Didn't even know they had a BT version til now. Was just about to pull trigger on true wireless bud (Jabra 65t or the like), but think i'll enjoy these alot more even with the decreased portability.

This price is also available at Best Buy until I believe Nov 7th. Picked up a pair a couple days ago. I also own some OG m50x wired. The sound profile isn't much different between the two, but I expect the m50xbt to warm up a bit over time. Bass isn't too heavy at all. Latency really isn't that bad. I also have the Sony wh1000xm3 and there isn't much of a difference, not enough to throw me off. This was an impulse buy and I'm very happy with it at this price tbh.
