[Amazon.ca] DEAD - AUKEY DR02D Dual Dash Cam 1080P Front/Rear Camera - Supercapacitor - $135 [PRIME ONLY] Regularly $180

Normally $180. Lowest recently has been $126, so this is reasonably warm.

1080p - Can read license plates 15-20 feet away.

Wide temperature range due to use of a supercapacitor (no battery). There is no "instant on" feature due to this. However, the Rearmaster OBD unit will get around this. Much cheaper from Amazon.com than a rip-off 3rd party seller on Amazon.ca: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074YZ1GKL

Nice unit. Uses proprietary cable to connect rear camera; there is no way to extend it. Note that the optional GPS add-on is not available in Canada, and Amazon US won't ship it here for some odd reason; I got one off Fleabay.

Price good until 3 PM Eastern today (Tuesday).

When I put in this code, I got $10 off, but I think it might be the credit from the PrimeVideo trial. Played around and now says AUKEYCAM is invalid.

For non-Prime members, this dashcam goes on sale at this price with the aukey promo code several times a year.

It worked for me, and I dont have the primevideo thing since I used PrimeVideo when it first came out. Showing $124.99, cheaper than the last sale when i bought one couple months ago at $125.99 lol

No Tax too! =D

It's a decent dashcam (I have the front-only model with the same Sony sensor). But the normal sale price in recent months is pretty close to this - the original $180 retail price is mythical now.

As for WiFi, I don't think it's a big deal. These cameras are basically install-and-forget until you need to check the recording. In that case it's pretty easy to pop out the microSD card and insert it in your phone or computer. You can play video on the camera screen, but it's really too small to see anything. But note that these cams can be plugged into a TV directly to show video (composite video output, not HDMI).

I think the SD card is only in the front, so no.

(if wifi and app)i like to use a spare tablet as a monitor for the dashcam. also its PITA to pop the microsd card out.sometimes the spring just flies out the card and might easily lose it in the dark, ymmv, i have the ac118 which is similar style to this i think
