So this isn't another gaming mouse or SSD deal. But I was trying to comb my hair and my comb broke. And I thought, there's gotta be a better comb out there. I've been using plastic combs for decades. Googled it and found this one as a recommended one.

the interesting thing about this comb.

It's $11.25 CAD.

Normal retail is actually $20 USD.

And camel shows that the cheapest historical price on amazon.com is about $18 USD. Reviewers say it's worth the $18

It's an acetate comb Made in Switzerland. It's strong so it's good if you have thicker hair.

I believe in buying good tools that last instead of a bunch of weak cheaper ones. Maybe it's time to upgrade your comb too :)

edit: better closeup picture showing the shape of the teeth

Looks very similar to a Kent brand comb.

What makes this better than your typical $2 plastic comb? (honest question)

Bought, thanks. I'm tired of the ever-downgrading quality of everyday things like these. I recently bought combs at dollarama and the sharp/cheap edges literally scrape my scalp off.

Got one, thanks op. Was not actively looking for one, but needed new one. This seems nice.

based on the description, the acetate material means the teeth are stronger and are shaped to glide through the hair better, and be gentler on the scalp too. Since it's stronger it should be better to get through tangled hair

I remember using a nice looking comb at my barbershop and it was really solid feeling, almost a pleasure to hold. It's sort of like when you pick up a nice quality german screwdriver, it just feels better in your hand

I'm hoping this large sized comb is going to last me a long time so I don't have to buy another variety pack of cheap combs again.

I just got my comb, it feels every bit as nice as I could expect it to be. Glides through my hair and feels quality. Just looking at the teeth and comparing it my Conair plastic comb, I can see this comb will go a long way.

seems like it would be a good stocking stuffer for a dad or brother!
