I have a monitor with this panel and it's delightful. Not perfect, but it's very nice, and I like the curve.

This is $400 on amazon.com, so this counts as a HOT deal! It might be on liquidation.

$322.50 if you have 25% off with Amazon Business account since this is sold and shipped by Amazon. Nice deal... good inputs, freesync 2 and decent panel. I paid too much for my 32" dell in retrospect...

What's the better monitor between this and the dell s3220dgf for a similar price point?

They look like the same panel, so the difference would be the slightly different looks, controls, any firmware bugs, and slightly different IO. The Dell has the standard printer cable USB input, and the BenQ has a more modern USB C + displayport input for hooking up to a laptop with 1 cable for display and USB accessories. The Dell has two analog audio outputs, one for speakers on the back, and one for headphones on the side, while the BenQ has just one on the back. You'd use that with the HDMI audio out from your video card, so the DAC in the monitor would become your sound card.

I have this monitor and love it. Freesync works great and the curve is kinda neat but not a huge impact really.

I have actually chosen to watch more than a few shows on it instead of living room TV. Its got a great picture and can be pretty immersive with headphones.

This doesn’t do UsB c power delivery so just be careful in case you expect this to charge your Mac or windows laptop at the same time.

Isn't the BenQ a VA panel and the dell is a IPS panel? With that response time and being a VA panel, the BenQ is a bad choice for FPS, or just gaming in general in my opinion.

These panels aren't remotely the same, and the Dell is a much better gaming monitor in my opinion

Note: VESA compatible with adapter only. No idea how much that costs.
