Thanks! I picked up Ni no Kuni and Tales of Vesperia from Best Buy. I think they may have been cheaper digitally at some point but I like physical copies of RPGs for collection or resale once I'm done.

Hi there,

Ni no Kuni and Tales of Vesperia are the lowest price it has been. I picked Tales last year for 35$ and that was on sale and drop to 30$ a few times after. *lol* Lesson learn, never buy a Bandai game until it is 25$. I think most of their games eventually reach that level if you can wait...

Got Code Vein a.k.a. a "gentler" version of Dark Souls.

Thanks, OP.

How is Switch Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition ?

I remembered someone mentioned it is a rather poor port.

SC6 was $12 earlier in the year, wonder if it'll hit that low again

Everything I’ve read indicates that this is a good port.

Vesperia was $20 on the eShop last month, I got it then. For physical this is probably the cheapest.

It was decent. The PS4 version maintains 60 fps, whereas the Switch version has 40s fps outside of battles. So it's not as good, depends on whether you're bothered by it or not.

Interesting, never heard of it, going to read up on it.

Although that description will not entice Soulsborne fans though lol

I see thanks

Someone in reddit reported random crush and lagging battles. Maybe they have been fixed latterly.

I ended up getting a refund on the Switch version because the frame rate was inconsistent when traversing the opening town. It was dipping below 30 FPS and it was distracting. I had the Xbox 360 version for comparison and the Switch version ran worse, which isn’t acceptable. Instead I got the PS4 version, which runs at mostly a steady 60 FPS. If that’s an option for you, I’d recommend you go for that version.

Tempted by Code Vein and NNN, platted the PS3 version. Would gladly play again.

Hopefully the sale price shows up in a few months again.
