Had my eye on this HEPA filter for awhile and it rarely goes on sale. It's on a 24 hour Deal of the Day.

It's good enough for a small apartment or a bedroom in a house. I needed it for my allergies during hayfever season!

oh no not this. I bought it in 2016 and after half a year even the lowest mode is so loud that it is not usable, and the air flow was very weak. Cleaning the filter didn't help. I probably got a lemon but I don't know how prevalent that is.

Be warned that the description says "HEPA-type" filter so it obviously isn't a true HEPA filter.
"Get rid of up to 99% of airborne allergens, such as dust, pollen, and pet dander with this unit's high-efficiency HEPA-type filtration." "HEPA type permanent filter captures particles as small as 2 microns so you can breathe comfortably."

To qualify as HEPA by US government standards, an air filter must remove (from the air that passes through) 99.97% of particles that have a size of 0.3 µm.[3]
