This microphone is normally $180 and it's sold out almost everywhere too. Generally considered to be the best USB microphone. Good price for the microphone. Looks like about 2 week shipping time. I think this will go very quickly. Looks like you don't get the game as the code is expired according to the date in the ad and people who left reviews on amazon.

Game says it's "valid only in [...] through 12.31.2019".
So will it just be the mic then?

you will not get the game, I found the mic picked up absolutely everything. I ended up replacing it as I couldnt get low enough noise floor with it. This could just be inexperience on my part but I didnt find a gain setting I liked that didnt pick up my computer fans.

Counter review - this is the only mic once enabled in Cardioid Mode + low gain, I am able to game + voice chat on my 5.1 speaker and still it only picks up my voice.

Found out the "front" for cardioid is the Blue logo side!

VERY happy with it.

Similar experience as SonicSam - with cardioid mode, I had a setup with:
Speaker -- mic -- me
And the mic did not pick up things noticeably from my speaker

I've had this mic for forever, and enjoy it. All that said, this is a lukewarm sale, IMO.

I was told you can return and to take it up with the company when I complained about the game. I will also say my experience was trying to get a perfectly clear voice over. desktop was 3.5 feet away around 40db. Even with the gain lower bringing it up in post was giving me a lot of noise. I went with the akg p120, not the usb version with Behringer umc204. I find the noise floor to be lower and using isotope rx6 voice denoiser allowed me to sound like myself. Although that isn't great. I think if I were to do it again I would have bought a dynamic microphone from the start. I would not say the difference between the p120 and the yeti was worth the cost of the umc 204. If you were better in processing I'm sure you could get it close or the same.

just to add the yeti was used all with audacity before I got into plugins. So my knowledge of compressors was limited and only based off the youtube videos I watched to set up the mic and to learn about getting better sound.

I had the same experience... But rtx voice should fix it now...

Yeti is better than the hyperx for sure. However the hyperx one looks more gaming with led also one tap mute the microphone kind of special feature.
