[Amazon.ca] Bomaker HD Wi-Fi Projector, Wireless Screen Mirroring

Was looking for something small and cheap to fill a random wall in the house and came across this. Reviews seem solid and price is pretty cheap. Bought 1. Anyway thought I'd share. Arriving tomorrow lol

$170 isn’t really cheap for a throwaway Chinese projector. Don’t these usually go on sale for under a hundred?

Typical chinese seller. Reviews look like they're fake also.

price is also crazy for the actual product. I would stay away. Surprised you even bought this OP.

I got mine in 2018 for $109.99: 1080p . Am I missing something in this comparison?

On that page alone, it lists the Native resolution of the projector as 800*480, I can take in 1080p, but its gonna compress it down to 480p pretty much.

That's a 480p projector. It just happens to take a 1080p input.

Great, thank you both. I don’t know much about projectors.

Lesson Learned. I just got it and tested it out. You def get what you pay for. The fan is much louder than advertised and cannot get all 4 corners focused at the same time :/ This is def getting returned

was just about to post regarding the exact issue about not being able to obtain a uniform focus. My uncle also bought it to use for a couple of holiday parties. The loud fan was expected though. It will serve its purpose but there is no real "deal" to be found with these types of beamers.
