Why would one add this to their milk though?

Am I missing something

[Ingredients Skim Milk Powder, Sugar, Corn Maltodextrin, Oligofructose, Inulin, Lactose, Artificial Flavour, Cellulose Gum, Vitamins (Vitamin A Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Niacinamide), Mineral (Ferric Orthophosphate). Contains milk. May contain soy and wheat

Think I used to drink this stuff 20 years ago when I was dieting... looking at the ingredients, not sure why:
